APPLICATION

  • Apply a layer of Ceresit base coat to the prepared substrate, ensuring an even, smooth finish.
  • Immediately embed the Ceresit CT325 glass-fibre reinforcing mesh into the wet base coat, pressing it firmly into the surface.
  • Cut the mesh to size as needed, ensuring a minimum 10 cm (4 inch) overlap at all joints.
  • Use a trowel or roller to ensure the mesh is fully embedded and there are no air pockets or wrinkles.
  • Overlap the mesh edges by a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) to create a continuous reinforced layer.
  • Ensure the mesh is fully embedded and not visible through the final base coat layer.
  • Allow the base coat with the embedded mesh to dry completely, as per the manufacturer's recommended drying time.
  • Once dry, apply a second coat of Ceresit base coat over the reinforced layer, ensuring full coverage and a smooth finish.
