Ceresit CS-38 is a one-component, high-temperature sealant resistant to direct contact with fire and temperature fluctuations up to +1,200 ° C, and for short periods even up to +1,500 ° C. It has very good adhesion to surfaces such as: concrete, cement mortars and plasters, bricks (also refractory), metal, glass, steel (also galvanized), anodized aluminium. CS 38 is designed for: repairing cracks in furnaces, sealing elements exposed directly to fire (e.g. fireplaces, stoves, boilers, grills) or high temperature (e.g. exhaust pipes, chimney ducts).
