British Gypsum Casoline MF12 Soffit Cleat (pack of 100)

British Gypsum Casoline MF12 Soffit Cleat is one of the Casoline MF ceiling accessories, used to provide flat or curved seamless suspended ceilings. It is used to connect the structural soffit to the ceiling system. Use the soffit cleat to mark the fixing points at 1200mm centres and use adequate fixings to secure each cleat. The angle sections or strap hangers should be located against the soffit cleat and fixed by using the MF11 Nut and Bolt.

The product can be used in variety of different systems, including:

• CasoLine CURVE is a lightweight system, applicable to both convex and concave structures in order of achieving the desired radius. It can be simply installed to any type of building, since there is no board pre-wetting needed and traditional jointing methods are applied. When the required radius is pre-determined, some factors including the board joints, the board characteristics, the curve length and the support centers should be taken into consideration;
• CasoLine MF is a suspended ceiling system providing monolithic appearance, especially if combined with Gyptone and Rigitone boards or Gyproc plasterboards, applicable to different kinds of residential and commercial applications. The system provides suspension from timber and concrete floors, with the option of resilient suspension provided by the acoustic hangers, allowing simple accommodation of access panels and hatches and easy installation if bulkheads. The system is applicable to dry and enclosed construction, so in case the humidity and moisture level it is recommended to use Gyproc plasterboard MR variants;
• CassoLine QUICK-LOCK GRID is a lightweight ceiling system providing some sound absorption, able to withstand imposed loads of up to 3 kg per tile, offering smooth white surface, with wide range of available tile options for achieving different effects for both exposed and concealed grid options. The system’s flexibility make it suitable to various applications. Tiles and planks used are very easy to maintain and clean using nothing more than a soft brush or a damp cloth and some standard mild detergent;
• ShaftWall is a lightweight system which can be installed in the early construction phase, especially applicable to areas with limited access, providing a fire-protective structure for the inner elements. It is designed to meet air pressure and deflection requirements, but also the boundary requirements prescribed by the applicable Approved Document B of the Building Regulations. The system can be found in stairwells, service ducts and risers and lift shafts, providing a protective enclosure.
